PNA. Caderno Criar Coragem

The Caderno Criar Coragem (CCC) is a visual and conceptual project that seeks to encourage the unlearning of what no longer serves us and the occupation of futures yet to come.
As the illustrator and visual designer of the project, my role was to construct a graphic language that embraces play, experimentation, and imperfection as active tools for thinking and participation.

Through bold colors, simplified forms, and dynamic compositions, the illustrations establish a visual rhythm that echoes the ideas of movement, openness, and collective construction. The visual system does not aim for neutrality or polish; instead, it intentionally embraces friction, imbalance, and playfulness as part of the process of learning and unlearning.

The illustrations function not as decoration, but as visual prompts—inviting readers to pause, question, connect, and imagine. Color operates as structure, movement as meaning, and composition as a way of organizing thought, reinforcing the notebook’s role as an open space for reflection and action.

Sometimes imperfect in tone, content, language, or approach, the CCC asserts itself as an invitation to keep building from critique, alternative perspectives, and shared experiences.
May this notebook act as a catalyst to create the courage needed for deeper democracy, active participation, cultural engagement, and artistic creation.
